BIOGRAPHY
Kaelan was born and raised in suburban Chicago. After graduating Elgin High School’s Gifted and Talented Academy, he attended Northwestern University - majoring in Theatre, minoring in Music Theatre Performance, and taking as many film production classes as possible. Kaelan graduated Magna Cum Laude, Lambda Pi Eta, and a Communication Century Scholar. Afterwards, he moved to Chicago and began working professionally - collaborating with such venerable institutions as Northlight Theatre; Timeline Theatre; Writers’ Theatre; Montana Shakespeare in the Parks; American Blues Theater; and studying at Chicago’s The Second City’s Conservatory Program; Chicago Shakespeare’s Classical Training Program; and four years of weekly private lessons with ShawChicago’s artistic director, Bob Scogin. He is currently living in Los Angeles.

He has appeared in campaigns for Reebok, Kleenex, American Crew, American Farmers Bureau, Illinois Partners for Clean Air, and others. He has acted in over a dozen independent films - including the recently released feature films
In Between Engagements, co-starring alongside Armand Assante; The Origins of Wit and Humor, with Steve Lemme; and the upcoming Neighborhood Food Drive, with Bruce Bundy.

Recently, Kaelan has begun producing his own work - beginning with the web series,
Backwoods Bard - a comedic take on his summer on tour with Montana Shakespeare in the Parks - and more recently the featurette, Legend of Amba. Both of which he wrote, directed, produced, and acted in. Kaelan is in the process of creating new original works to be premiered in the near future.
